In our 3-day course you will encounter 25 realistic scenarios (for Rhineland-Palatinate it is 5 days and 45 scenarios) in a protected learning atmosphere, also being under the guidance of experienced instructors. The range of cases includes important emergency situations in the fields of internal medicine, trauma care, pediatrics and neurology.

Gain experience by working in small groups, solving important incidents of pediatric anesthesia and repeat with us the contents of the ERC Guidelines for children. The experience of this course will give you more safety in dealing with children.

PiCCO® uses transpulmonary thermodilution and pulse contour analysis to continuously determine cardiac output and derived parameters. AQAI has developed a simulation system for PiCCO® that realistically represents all typical hemodynamic changes. Diseases such as sepsis, bleeding, heart failure show pathological values that you analyze and treat in this course. This way you can gain much intensive medical experience.

You study medicine and are interested in the subject of anesthesia. We offer you two practice-oriented and exciting days. Under personal supervision of experienced colleagues, you will work in small groups, solving varying cases. By the end of this course, you will have improved your practical skills and gained experience for everyday life. The patient cases on the simulators offer a great introduction to the practice.

This course will teach you the basics of respiratory physiology, mechanical and non-invasive ventilation. The realistic lung simulator TestChest® visually displays resistance, compliance and time constants and thus communicates them sustainably. You will learn the analysis of ventilation curves; Terms like CMV, PS, ASV and PAV lose their horror.

This course is for those who have completed Ventilation Day I or have a sound knowledge of ventilation. The contents of the lesson includes differentiated ventilation, the limits of conventional ventilation, as well as the performance of various ventilation modes, visually displayed by the TestChest® lung simulator. In an intensive care room, you treat patients with various complex disorders of respiration or lung function.
